Placoscopana, a new genus of Neocoelidiinae (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) from Ecuador

Abstract: A new genus of Neocoelidiinae, Placoscopana gen. nov. is proposed and its type-species Placoscopana nigrilinea sp. nov. is described and illustrated based on a male specimen from Ecuador (Orellana Province).
