Epidemiology of canine visceral leishmaniasis in a vulnerable region in Brazil

Abstract: Visceral leishmaniasis (VL) is a neglected and endemic zoonosis that occurs throughout Brazil; nevertheless, few studies have focused on the early detection of the disease.
