Abstract: EditorialAs doenças transmitidas por carrapatos continuam desafiando a ciência, seja na Medicina Veterinária como na Medicina Humana. A cada dia novos hospedeiros são descritos e os patógenos transmitidos conseguem driblar a resposta imune destes, sobrevivem e ainda fazem variação antigênica.
