Abstract: In order to inventory the metazoan endoparasites of Serrasalmus marginatus, 91 specimens were examined. Studies on the parasitofauna of piranha Serrasalmus marginatus (Valenciennes, 1837) are scarce and mostly have focused on the taxonomy of some groups.
