Abstract: RESUMO Resgata-se a evidência empírica internacional sobre efeitos de esquemas de participação dos trabalhadores nos lucros e resultados das empresas, o que permite mostrar que a experiência brasileira, ainda pouco estudada, oferece indícios que vão ao encontro das opiniões de que esses esquemas podem melhorar os indicadores das empresas que os adotam e as relações no ambiente de trabalho.
