Abstract: Idosos contaminados pelo HIV ampliam as estatísticas ao redor do mundo. Este estudo teve como objetivo geral descrever as características da Aids em pessoas com 60 anos de idade ou mais, atendidos em hospital de referência para HIV/Aids no Ceará, no período de 1989 a 2004.
