Abstract: Esta comunicação apresenta o cenário da doença celíaca e suas implicações em hábitos, práticas alimentares e qualidade de vida de indivíduos intolerantes ao glúten. Apresenta dados importantes sobre a questão que, mundialmente, é considerada problema de saúde pública.
