RESUMO ABSTRACTThis is a popula on-based, descrip ve, and analy c study conducted with a randomized and probabilis c sample comprising 340 hypertensive individuals representa ve of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) Service in João Pessoa, PB, Brazil. The present study corresponds to the fi rst part of a cohort started in 2008. The instrument used was an adapta on of the Primary Care Assessment Tool revalidated in Brazil. Logis c regression was used to inves gate the associa ons between blood pressure (BP) control, sociodemographic variables, and an indicator of adherence/ a achment. Among the 340 hypertensive parcipants, 32.6% were followed up at the FHS, and 89.1% exhibited sa sfactory adherence/ a achment. The older adults were more likely to control BP, which suggests a more accurate self-care percep on and greater adherence to treatment. The present study highlights the problem posed by the control of hypertension by means of the assessment of services. We expected the present model to be applied at other loca ons to generate parameters to compare diff erent municipali es. El estudio consiste en la primera parte de una cohorte iniciada en 2008. El instrumento u lizado fue adaptado del Primary Care Assessment Tool, revalidado en Brasil. La regresión logís-ca evaluó la asociación entre el control de presión, las variables sociodemográfi cas y el indicador de adhesión/vínculo. Entre los 340 hipertensos, 32,6% recibía seguimiento de la ESF y 89,1% presentó adhesión/ vínculo sa sfactorio. Los ancianos presentaron mayores posibilidades de controlar la presión, lo que sugiere una mejor percepción del autocuidado y mayor adhesión al tratamiento. El estudio permi ó poner en evidencia la problemá ca del control de la hipertensión mediante la evaluación del servicio. Se espera que este modelo pueda adoptarse en otras localidades, generando parámetros para comparaciones entre dis ntos municipios.

This phenomenological investigation aimed to understand the therapeutic routine of adolescents with HIV/AIDS. Sixteen adolescents between 13 and 19 years of age, assisted by the health service and aware of their diagnosis were interviewed, between December of 2009 and May of 2010, in the University Hospital of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Their statements, which were analyzed in the light of Heidegger, revealed that the being-adolescent is presented as a being-with-in-the-world through the impersonality of the characteristics of adolescence and the occupation with activities of the daily living. In face of having HIV/AIDS, they fear that, besides their family, other people might learn about their disease, due to prejudice. This comprehensive perspective allowed the possibility of a nursing care based on an attentive approach to the pluralities and singularities in the daily living, and mediated by the dialogue with the being-adolescent and its family, in order to make this being the leading figure in its permanent care. Fueron entrevistados 16 adolescentes de 13 a 19 años, asistidos por el servicio de salud y que conocían su diagnóstico. Los testimonios fueron analizados a la luz del Heidegger, revelaron que el ser-adolescente se muestra, en la condición de ser-con-el-mundo, de modo impersonal considerándose las características de la adolescencia y la ocupación de actividades cotidianas. Ante el hecho de estar enfermo de VIH/SIDA y debido al prejuicio general sobre la enfermedad, él teme que, además de su familia, otras personas sepan de su enfermedad. A partir de esta mirada comprensiva, emergió la posibilidad del cuidado de Enfermería pautado en un abordaje atento a las pluralidades y singularidad(es) en el cotidiano y mediado por la dialógica con el ser-adolescente y la familia, a fin de tornarlo protagonista de su cuidado permanente. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar na produção científica da saúde coletiva quais questionários validados estão sendo utilizados para avaliar a adesão ao tratamento da hipertensão. Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa realizada nas bases de dados SciELO, MEDLINE e LILACS. Foram selecionados nove estudos que utilizaram sete questionários: Teste de Moriski-Green, Cuestionário de Valoración de Adherencia, Cuestionário MBG, Questionário QAM-Q, Teste de Haynes, Escala de Conductas em Salud e Hill-Bone compliance Scale. Concluímos que a avaliação da adesão ao tratamento da hipertensão ainda é campo aberto para pesquisa, os diferentes instrumentos utilizados têm suas limitações e não há um método ideal.
