ABSTRACTThe article presents the state of knowledge about the interdisciplinary perspective on the initial formation of teachers on the area of Natural Sciences. The research comprises the Content Analysis of 19 articles selected within 160 national periodicals with rating of A1 and B2 in the Teaching area of CAPES' Qualis. Through analysis, it was noticed that the interdisciplinarity is present in two perspectives: the search of and for interdisciplinarity. The search of focuses on the works that discuss the initial formation in the proposed interdisciplinary curricula for Natural Sciences degree courses, presenting the interdisciplinarity in its formative conception. The search for is expressed through actions, such as practices, projects or programs carried out along the formative path of students in undergraduate education, since there is no mention in the proposed curriculum.. The results of the study show a convergence of these perspectives and the need to strengthen the indissoluble relationship between the subjects and the objects of knowledge.
