Leitura e escrita femininas no século XIX

Abstract: Esta pesquisa analisa as práticas de leitura e escrita realizadas por mulheres na primeira metade do século XIX. Trata-se de um período em que o domínio das habilidades de leitura e escrita no Brasil era restrito a uma pequena parcela da população, existindo poucos indícios dessas práticas relacionadas ao universo feminino.
