Abstract: Objective. Estimate the prevalence of Hypertension in adults and its association with the Body Mass Index (BMI) and Waist Circumference (WC). MethOds. It is a descriptive, observational, and cross-sectional study, population-based, with simple random sample (≥18 years old). 1,168 individuals were investigated. Standardized questionnaires.
