Still, it was possible to note that the participants, for the most part, followed medical advice because they kept up medical monitoring (79.1%) and got pregnant after 18 months of BS (63.3%), which is the minimum period recommended for a low-risk pregnancy 6,9,11 after BS by surgical technique gastric bypass (87.4%), which is, according to Santo et al, 9 the golden pattern to this type of obesity treatment.…”
