Show more

“…It is observed that there was an increase of about 32 °C in the temperature of degradation in the composite with the addition of 10 wt % of carbon black, compared to neat PLA. This increase in degradation temperature was also observed by Zucolotto et al . in their study of polyaniline‐modified carbon black in the composite structure with poly(vinylidene fluoride).…”

“…All samples presented a hydrophobic behavior, with a contact angle higher than 90°. The incorporation of 0.2% (m/m) of MWCNTs increased the hydrophobicity by more than 10%, corroborating that carbonaceous particles reduce wettability 61 . The incorporation of ZnO or both fillers in the matrix did not significantly change the results compared with neat PVDF.…”

It can be due to the amounts of OH in ZnO particles, corroborating with FTIR results.…”
