Determinantes da atenção aos idosos pela rede pública de saúde, hoje e em 2030: o caso da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo

Abstract: Este artigo buscou identificar o perfil da atenção dispensada aos idosos na saúde a partir da escuta de 39 representantes dos conselhos de saúde dos municípios da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo (RMSP), conforme executado hoje e desejável para 2030. In the national setting, even considering the progressive increase in life expectancy, researchers in Geriatrics and Gerontology point out that many Brazilian health services are not prepared for the demands of the elderly population (1)(2) .
