Abstract: ResumoEste artigo aborda, primeiramente, a produção científica das ciências sociais e humanas em saúde publicada em periódicos de sete revistas da área de Saúde Coletiva/Saúde Pública no Brasil, no período de 1997 a 2007, registrada na base eletrônica de dados SciElo e identificada mediante uma extensa lista de palavras-chave.
