Estudo comparativo sobre a perspectiva de futuro dos estudantes de escolas públicas e privadas

Abstract

A perspectiva de futuro, que é um tema recorrente entre os jovens, foi objeto de estudo desta investigação cujo objetivo foi comparar as expectativas dos estudantes das escolas públicas e privadas. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo exploratório com 296 estudantes do ensino fundamental e médio de ambas as instituições, para responderem à Escala "Como você vê seu futuro" e escreverem discursivamente como imaginam o futuro deles, analisados por meio de testes de hipóteses e procedimentos de categorização. Observou-se que os estudantes diferem em poucos itens (como ingressar em uma universidade ou confiar nos dirigentes do país), ao passo que se assemelham na maioria (como conclusão dos estudos e conseguir emprego que trouxesse qualidade de vida), dados estes também encontrados na questão discursiva. Conclui-se, dessa forma, que os estudantes de escolas públicas e privadas diferem em poucas questões e possuem aspirações similares quanto à forma como idealizam seu futuro.

The influence of the future expectation on quality of life of cadets of portuguese army
