Detecção de ácido ocadaico em cultivo de mexilhões Perna perna, Angra dos Reis, RJ

Abstract: A ficotoxina ácido ocadaico (AO) é produzida por um grupo de microalgas conhecidas como dinoflagelados. Os mexilhões, ao se alimentarem dessas microalgas, acumulam a toxina em sua glândula digestiva, desencadeando a Síndrome ou Envenenamento Diarreico por Moluscos (EDM) no ser humano.
