Show more

“…The dillapiole levels observed in these EOs ranged from 54.7% and 31.5-97.3%, respectively 31,11,32,33 . 36 . According to these studies, evolutionary pressure resulted in selection of a specialized phenotype, also called ecotype, which is more effective and better adapted to local environmental conditions.…”

“…Its fruit, called cagaita, is widely used by local residents. 1,3,4 Scientific studies report that this fruit is a source of bioactive substances with antioxidant activity, which have been associated with prevention of diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The antioxidant activity of foods needs to be determined with different methods that use other mechanisms to reliably quantify foods with a complex matrix.…”

“…These results suggest that the composition of the essential oil obtained from A. filipendulina grown in Khoy considerably differs from those produced in other geographical regions. Such difference could also stem from the variation of environmental conditions, harvesting time, genetic diversity, the growth stage, drying and extraction method of essential oil . Moreover, it was shown that the compositions of the essential oils obtained from three varying segments of this plant are different.…”
