Identificar las representaciones sociales elaboradas por los enfermeros sobre la autonomía profesional y el uso de tecnologías en el cuidado a personas con heridas, analizando sus interfaces con la constante incorporación de tecnologías en este cuidado. Métodos. Investigación cualitativa, delineada a partir de la teoría y método de las representaciones sociales en su abordaje procesual, realizada con 31 enfermeros de un hospital municipal de Região dos Lagos, estado de Rio de Janeiro (RJ, Brasil). Las entrevistas se sometieron a análisis de contenido temático instrumentalizado por el software Nvivo 10. Resultados. Los contenidos representacionales sobre autonomía están ligados, sobretodo, al conocimiento, poder de decisión, formación profesional y a factores institucionales. Los sujetos se posicionan favorablemente en la incorporación de tecnologías de cuidado en la práctica profesional, que envuelve elementos como el costo-beneficio, los entrenamientos y otros recursos. Conclusión. La autonomía se configura como un prerrequisito para la utilización plena de la tecnología y esta se configura como un elemento facilitador para que los enfermeros se vuelvan más autónomos.Palabras clave: enfermería; tecnología biomédica; autonomia professional; heridas y traumatismos; psicologia social. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa delineada a partir da teoria e método das representações sociais em sua abordagem processual e realizada com 31 enfermeiros de um hospital municipal da Região dos Lagos do estado do Rio de Janeiro (RJ, Brasil). As entrevistas foram submetidas à análise de conteúdo temática instrumentalizada pelo software Nvivo 10. Resultados. Os conteúdos representacionais sobre autonomia estão ligados, sobretudo, ao nível de conhecimento, poder de decisão, formação profissional e a fatores institucionais. Os sujeitos posicionamse favoravelmente à incorporação de tecnologias de cuidado na prática profissional, que envolve elementos como custo-benefício, estrutura, treinamentos e outros recursos. Conclusão. A autonomia se configura como um pré-requisito para a utilização plena da tecnologia e a tecnologia configura-se como um elemento facilitador para que o enfermeiro se torne mais autônomo.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES:In patients with chronic pain, insomnia is reported between 50 and 88% of them. It is essential to recognize sleep disorders to estimate its repercussions on the quality of life and to seek knowledge that supports the necessary interventions. This study aims to identify the possible factors that influence sleep quality, as well as its prevalence in these patients. METHODS: Sample consisting of 68 patients (58 women, 10 men), the mean age of 45.3±10.3 years, with a positive diagnosis of human immunodeficiency virus undergoing antiretroviral and chronic pain treatment in Porto Alegre, RS. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index was used to assess the components of the scale as well as their overall score. For the classification of the type of chronic pain, the Leeds Assessment of Neuropathic Symptoms and Signs scale was used, which differentiates nociceptive and neuropathic pain. RESULTS: Patients classified with no pain, nociceptive pain and neuropathic pain. Overall score divided into good sleep, bad sleep and sleep disorder, where patients without pain accounted for 8.8%, 16.2 and 2.9% respectively. With nociceptive pain 4.4, 11.8 and 5.9%, respectively. With neuropathic pain 4.4, 23.5 and 22.1% respectively. Patients with neuropathic pain had the highest rates of poor sleep and sleep disorder, accounting for 50.0% and using more sleeping pills compared to the control group (p<0.05). CONCLUSION: There is a high prevalence of sleep disorders or poor sleep in patients with the human immunodeficiency virus with neuropathic pain. Objective: To analyze the meanings attributed by young Catholics on the interface prevention to HIV and sexuality from the perspective of social representations. Methods: It is a qualitative study that used the Theory of Social Representations as a theoretical contribution for analysis and discussion, carried out with 84 practicing young Catholics, who responded to the inducing stimuli of the Free Speech Evocation Test and an open question for the interview in depth. The data were collected online, on facebook, with young participants of the World Youth Day. It was used for the analysis: Correspondence Factor and Lexical Content with the aid of softwares. Results: On sexuality, so many women with higher levels of schooling as men, represented that sex should be performed freely without prejudice and guilt, but should be done with protection with the use of condoms. However, those with lower levels of education, with a basic (incomplete and basic) level, reaffi rm in their representational worldview matrimony, chastity and virginity as hegemonic forms of HIV prevention. Conclusion: Both Catholic dogmas and scientifi c knowledge are responsible for conforming the consensuses in the social representations of young Catholics about sexuality, with a focus on HIV Prevention.
