Effect of splenectomy and ligature of the left gastric vein on portal hypertensive colopathy in carriers of surgical hepatosplenic schistosomiasis mansoni

Abstract: Splenectomy and ligature of the left gastric vein tend to reduce the abnormal vascular findings of PHC in carriers of hepatosplenic schistosomiasis mansoni.
