Abstract: Na reação à hegemonia da Psicologia Social norte-americana, nos anos setenta e oitenta, algumas experiências de pesquisas no cotidiano foram banidas da memória coletiva da disciplina, seja por excesso de patrulhamento ideológico, seja pela identificação de toda a produção européia e norte-americana com a vertente mais individualista da Psicologia Social.
