Abstract: Esse estudo teve como objetivo investigar a efetividade da suplementação semanal de ferro na concentração de hemoglobina, no estado nutricional e no desenvolvimento mental e motor de lactentes em quatro creches municipais do Recife, Pernambuco, Brasil.
