This review provides a summary of extracted data from the published literature that contains drug residue depletion data for edible tissues and milk following treatment of sheep and goats. Out of 20,234 records obtained during the initial search, data from 177 records were included in this review. The data is separated by antibiotic class for ease of comparison between studies. Extracted data includes the active ingredient, dosing information, animal health status, analytical method and limits of detection, tolerance and maximum residue limit information, and time frames relative to residue absence or detection. This information is useful for understanding drug residue depletion profiles following extra-label use and for estimating withdrawal intervals, in order to protect the human food chain.

a b s t r a c tSolid silver mercury amalgam electrodes (AgSAEs) represent a suitable alternative to mercury electrodes due to their similar electrochemical properties and non-toxicity of the amalgam material. Based on this knowledge, we report the use of silver solid amalgam as working electrode to determine cefepime in human milk sample. Square-wave voltammogram registered for cefepime in Britton-Robinson buffer at pH 2.5, presented two well-defined reduction peaks, at À0.28 V (peak 1C) and À0.45 V (peak 2C). Under optimized condition, the calibration curves presented linear response from 3.0 Â 10 À7 to 2.1 Â 10 À6 mol L À1 with limits of detection and quantification of 8.51 Â 10 À9 and 2.84 Â 10 À8 mol L À1 , respectively. The applicability of the method was verified using spiked human milk samples and testing recovery percentages, which were ranged from 98.00% to 100.5%. The obtained results were also compared with those provided with the HPLC technique.
