Abstract: RESUMO: Este texto apresenta e discute a implantação da reforma da educação profi ssional de nível médio no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo (іѓѠѝ), focando as tensões que se produziram em função desse processo.
