Our analyzes are based on official documents produced by the federal government regarding the conception and organization of High School. The results indicate that the hegemonization of certain meanings of integration in the political texts investigated occurred through an articulatory practice constructed by relations of differences and equivalences, resulting in the production of contingent, precarious and provisional hegemonies. We argue that discursive articulations for the establishment of the meanings of integration and of competences go through the production of politics since the 1990, with repercussions on the current reform.
