SATISFACTION WITH THE COMPANY AND FUTURE EXPECTATIONS AT WORK: A STUDY APPLIED TO A RUBBER INDUSTRY OF SIERRA GAÚCHA ABSTRACTMeasure the satisfaction of employees is a common practice in studies of Personnel Management, however, few studies have sought to examine together the future claims of workers. Trying to understand this scenario, we performed an empirical study of the quantitative and descriptive with the 45 employees of a rubber industry in the Serra Gaucha. By ANOVA and chi--square, we noticed that in general there is a satisfaction in relation to the organization, especially with regard to the physical conditions of work and relationships with colleagues. Among the reasons that attract the retention of employees, the "work performed" is the most prominent. It was noticed that employees with higher level of education does not have a definition of their professional future in 2 years, unlike those who have lower education levels, where most of them want to remain in the company and in the same position he holds.
