Abstract: RESUMO -O abacaxizeiro Pérola tem como uma das suas principais características a geração de elevado número de mudas tipo filhote, formando um cacho na parte superior do pedúnculo. Os filhotes desenvolvem-se no mesmo período da formação do fruto.
