Abstract:Hisarai, novo gênero de Macrotomini, é descrito para alocar H. seripierriae (Santos-Silva & Martins, 2003), nova combinação, originalmente descrito em Physopleurus Lacordaire, 1869. Nova espécie descrita do Brasil (Bahia): Nothopleurus komiyai (Macrotomini). Nova sinonímia em Macrotomini: Mallodon baroni Casey, 1912 = Mallodon dasystomus dasystomus (Say, 1824).
