Estudo da prolificidade da raça suína Piau

Abstract: Neste trabalho estudamos os dados referentes à raça suína Piau, tipo grande, da Estação Experimental de Criação de São Carlos (Fazenda Canchin), atualmente Unidade de Execução de Pesquisa de Âmbito Estadual (UEPAE), de Sao Carlos, SP. Tal raça foi melhorada pelo Medito-Veterinário Antônio Teixeira Vianna. Foram coletados de seus registros genealógicos dados de 1940 a 1970, referentes a 227 porcas.
