Abstract: Introduction: Among HIV-1-infected patients, CD4 + T cell counts are well-established markers of cell-mediated immunity. Delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) skin tests can be used to evaluate in vivo cell-mediated immunity to common antigens.
