“…A case study with a female patient, 59 years old, with history of depressive syndrome, dyslipidemia, hiatal hernia and Parkinson's disease with acute chest pain of increasing intensity started by physical effort and relieved after rest, has shown that although symptoms led to the hypothesis of coronary syndrome, patient had recurrent hiatal hernia 22 . So, a literature review has looked for possible causes for non cardiac chest pain and has found that, among causes, there are gastroesophageal reflux disease, visceral hypersensitivity, esophageal motor disorders and psychological comorbidities 23 .
