Bacteremia in cirrhotic patients submitted to endoscopic band ligation of esophageal varices

Abstract: -Background -Endoscopic procedures can develop bacteremia. Patients with chronic liver disease are more predisposed to undergo bacteremia and infections because they are immunocompromised.
