Síndrome metabólica em adolescentes de diferentes estados nutricionais

Abstract: RESUMOObjetivo: Verificar a prevalência de síndrome metabólica (SM) em adolescentes de diferentes estados nutricionais. Sujeitos e métodos: A amostra constitui-se de 582 adolescentes de 12 a 18 anos de idade. A classificação do estado nutricional por meio do índice de massa corporal (IMC) foi realizada utilizando as tabelas de referência do NCHS.
