Abstract:The authors describe the adjuvant drug treatment during and after percutaneous coronary intervention in order to obtain the reduction of major cardiovascular events, focusing in diabetic patients. In the clinical follow-up of diabetic patients after PCI, special attention to the control measures of cardiovascular risk factors should be observed.
