Abstract:This paper discusses performativity and performance through an analogy with the orixá Exu and the Exus entities. The field research and participant observation in Candomblé and giras of Exu allowed for an in-depth reflection. Experiences as an Omorixá Exu allows us to approach the terreiro and the crossroads as a knowledge production space.
