Abstract:Resumo Esta pesquisa apresenta as dinâmicas e os efeitos do processo histórico do fim do tráfico de escravos e da abolição da escravatura, em Angola, repercutidos em materiais impressos (oficiais) e periódicos, na segunda metade do século XIX. Com o advento da imprensa livre, aconteceram mudanças significativas no debate público angolano.
