Purpose As the new coronavirus disease propagated around the world, the rapid spread of news caused uncertainty in the population. False news has taken over social media, becoming part of life for many people. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate, through a systematic review, the impact of social media on the dissemination of infodemic knowing and its impacts on health. Methods A systematic search was performed in the MedLine, Virtual Health Library (VHL), and Scielo databases from January 1, 2020, to May 11, 2021. Studies that addressed the impact of fake news on patients and healthcare professionals around the world were included. It was possible to methodologically assess the quality of the selected studies using the Loney and Newcastle–Ottawa Scales. Results Fourteen studies were eligible for inclusion, consisting of six cross-sectional and eight descriptive observational studies. Through questionnaires, five studies included measures of anxiety or psychological distress caused by misinformation; another seven assessed feeling fear, uncertainty, and panic, in addition to attacks on health professionals and people of Asian origin. Conclusion By analyzing the phenomenon of fake news in health, it was possible to observe that infodemic knowledge can cause psychological disorders and panic, fear, depression, and fatigue.

O presente artigo debruça-se sobre a resposta da Democracia Brasileira frente ao estado de pandemia da Covid-19 que se instaurou no país, principalmente no primeiro semestre de 2020. Fundadas no pressuposto que o modelo democrático brasileiro se constitui como um conceito forte de instituições abstratas, objetivamos analisar a formação da democracia nacional e sua efetivação ante os efeitos sociais provocados pela Pandemia do Covid-19. Para isso, foi analisado o transcurso histórico-contextual do conceito de Democracia e, por fim, avaliado a Democracia no Brasil a partir dos impactos causados pela Pandemia do Covid-19 e as consequências dessa atuação na efetivação do espaço democrático nacional. Para a consecução dos argumentos foi utilizado um estudo bibliográfico, com dados científicos, fundamentado nas seguintes bases: Scielo, CAPES e Google Acadêmico, usando as palavras-chave: “Democracia”; “Pandemia” e “Covid-19”. Os resultados mostraram que com a Pandemia percebeu-se como a Democracia no Brasil é puramente formal, reduzida à conceitos jurídicos e acadêmicos. Essa abstração se tornou letal às classes mais pobres, pois concretizou sua ineficácia material que há anos desmantela as estruturas sociais de proteção, nega o acesso dos pobres ao exercício prático da isonomia e demonstra o papel secundário do discurso legal, criando um distanciamento entre o que seria a essência da democracia (justiça) e a materialização desse instituto no Brasil (interesses de classes). O processo de Pandemia tende a recrudescer, mas por anos deixará marcas no deck inferior do navio, onde os mais pobres continuarão pobres, os ricos, com certeza, ficarão milionários.

The ocean and its areas of influence are fundamental environments for life on the planet, harbor ample biodiversity and are the basis of support for many vulnerable families and communities, which justifies the implementation and effectiveness of laws and policies for the conservation of marine resources throughout the world. With the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, many impacts have intensified in these environments, which emphasizes the importance of research that considers these effects and the political scenario in which the pandemic erupted. The objective of this discussion was to evaluate the social and environmental impacts associated with the resources of the sea, verifying the effectiveness of public policies and highlighting the importance of social inclusion, environmental education and shared responsibility. The study area was the Brazilian coast and the research methodology was based on the analysis of secondary data, analysis of official reports and documents, as well as a qualitative bibliographic review of scientific articles, presenting comparisons and interdisciplinary discussions between Brazil and other countries. in order to build a narrative review on the subject, presenting hypotheses for improvements in the post-pandemic scenario. The study reveals that there is a large gap between theory and practice with regard to sea conservation policies, which is enhanced by the political crisis in Brazil and its social, economic and environmental effects, generating impacts and externalities that affect national interests and international. It is concluded that, in the post-pandemic scenario, there will be a great need for joint actions to mitigate the intensified impacts of the pandemic, and it is up to the government to support the most affected and seek to ensure the practical effectiveness of the sea. conservation policies and effective environmental education actions.
