A Centralidade Do Feminino No Método Canguru

Abstract: Resumo O estudo tem como objeto de reflexão os discursos sobre o Método Canguru em revistas científicas do campo materno-infantil. Tal estudo, de abordagem qualitativa e de natureza bibliográfica, foi realizado no período de novembro de 2013 a novembro de 2014. “…It is important for NU professionals to understand mothers who experience the hospitalization of their preterm child, their difficulties leaving home, husband and other children in order to live 24/7 with their baby in the Kangaroo ward care (27,43) . Postpartum women in KMCM goes through interpretations and senses of a mother who needs to take care of her child, and the newly delivered woman who is equally in need of care is often overlooked (19,40) .
