“…Understandably, there was a decrease in gained knowledge after approximately 5 months compared to immediately after the course but the level of knowledge remained at a comparable level up to 2 years after the course and remained better than at baseline which is similar to reports from other studies. 6 , 12 , 17 - 19 Students had not attended any other official BLS and AED course as part of their school curriculum during the 2 years between the 2 tests.
