Inferência Bayesiana Na Avaliação Genética De Bovinos Da Raça Tabapuã Do Nordeste Brasileiro

Show more

“…Each individual is represented by a thin vertical line, which is partitioned into colored segments that represent the proportional contribution of the inferred K clusters. The populations are separated by thin vertical black lines similarity of proportion of ancestral contribution pattern of Tabapuã and Indubrasil breeds confirms the common crosses of Nelore and Guzerá cattle during their formation, which can be proven by their low index of genetic differentiation (Brasil et al, 2013;Vercesi Filho et al, 2002 andOliveira et al, 2015). Sindi was the only breed probable presenting homogeneity in the population, as observed by the F IS statistic (0.01235), indicating inbreeding among the animals due to the low Ne.…”

“…Each individual is represented by a thin vertical line, which is partitioned into colored segments that represent the proportional contribution of the inferred K clusters. The populations are separated by thin vertical black lines formed other breeds, such as Indubrasil, which has alleles from Nelore, Guzerá, and Gyr breeds (Vercesi Filho et al, 2002), and Tabapuã, which was formed from Nelore and Guzerá breeds (Oliveira et al, 2015). Studies on zebu breeds in the Americas (Villalobos-Cortés et al, 2015) and Sudan (Hussein et al, 2015) identified similar results for F ST and Nm.…”

“…Ordinary kriging proved to be efficient to estimate unsampled values, using a semivariogram fit (Figure 5). Therefore, a spatial distribution map of noise can be built, and the variability can be better visualized (Oliveira et al, 2015). The map showed anisotropic behavior, that is, the sample semivariogram depends only on distance and not on direction; therefore, the semivariogram is the same in all directions.…”

“…Most studies reporting genetic parameters for Tabapuã cattle only consider growth traits (Sakaguti et al, 2003;Campêlo et al, 2004;Ferraz Filho et al, 2004;Pereira et al, 2005;Ribeiro et al, 2007;Sousa Júnior et al, 2010;Caires et al, 2012;Menezes et al, 2013;Bernardes et al, 2015;Oliveira et al, 2015;Campos et al, 2016;Oliveira et al, 2017;Sousa Júnior et al, 2019). Reports are very scarce for reproductive traits (Pereira et al, 2005;Bernardes et al, 2015), and there are no studies for carcass traits in this breed.…”
