Rock outcrops are centers of diversity and endemism for many groups of organisms (Barthlott et al, 2005; Giulietti et al, 2019; Andrino et al, 2020) and harbor historic human records through rock paintings and petroglyphs (Loponte & Carbonera, 2015; Andreae & Andreae, 2022).
