Dissatisfaction with life and associated factors in older community-dwelling adults

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the prevalence of dissatisfaction with life and associated sociodemographic factors. Method: A cross-sectional, population-based study was carried out. Data collection was performed using the Brazil Old Age Schedule (BOAS) questionnaire. “…Resultados semelhantes foram encontrados em estudo realizado em município brasileiro de pequeno porte populacional, no qual se verificou que os idosos insatisfeitos com a vida evidenciaram 2,08 vezes maior chance de TMC do que os idosos satisfeitos (29) .
