Sports injuries in soccer according to tactical position: a retrospective survey

“…Una de las investigaciones que realizó la Universidad Católica de San Antonio en Murcia, España, consideró además de los factores asociados a la práctica deportiva, como los elementos que inciden en la generación de lesiones en los futbolistas, sino que evidencia la importancia de considerar las condiciones del espacio físico en donde se realiza la práctica deportiva, ya que gracias a reportes de diversas organizaciones mundiales de fútbol estos son considerados una de las principales causas de lesiones en los deportistas, por consiguiente, es importante establecer planes de mejora con el fin de mitigar las lesiones en el terreno de juego (Melis et al, 2011). Considerando las posiciones de juego de los futbolistas, el estudio de Onaka et al (2017), determina que para el caso de los porteros la presencia de lesiones se asocia a que en la actualidad la participación de estos jugadores es más dinámica y anticipada dentro del campo de juego, por ende, los traumatismos directos son una de las causas principales para que desarrollen lesiones, las cuales pueden ir desde luxaciones, rupturas ligamentarias y fracturas, esto en cuanto a los defensas, volantes y delanteros (Wong y Hong, 2005), concluyeron que las lesiones en estas posiciones, se asocian a mecanismos directos que involucran traumatismos por choque durante el juego y mecanismos indirectos los cuales estarían ligados a sobre entrenamientos, malos procesos de recuperación y variaciones en la carga de entrenamiento. Por otro lado, cuando se analiza la presencia de lesiones en futbolistas amateur, en el estudio desarrollado por Nogueira et al (2017) donde se evaluaron 527 jugadores de ligas sub 17 y sub 19, se encontró que el mayor porcentaje de lesiones se generó durante los partidos, contra un porcentaje menor de futbolistas que presentaron lesiones durante los entrenamientos; en este mismo estudio los autores reportaron que el 76,6% de las lesiones tuvo su origen por mecanismos traumáticos, mientras que el porcentaje restante evidenció lesiones asociadas al sobreentrenamiento.…”
