Role of Si Minor Addition on Glass Formation and Flow Stress Characteristics of a Zr-Based Metallic Glass

Abstract: The characterization of strain rate effects near glass transition temperature (T g ) gives important information on flow behavior of metallic glasses (MGs). For this purpose, the tensile strain rate jump test was carried out near glass transition temperature to evaluate the flow behaviors of ZrCoAl(Si) MG ribbons. The primary thermal analyses showed that the Si minor addition into the ZrCoAl alloy leads to the betterment of thermal stability and the glass forming ability (GFA), correlated with the small size o… Show more

“…The organic layer was then isolated, dried, and vaporised. A 1:2 mixture of propane and methylene dichloride was used for the recrystallization to obtain the SA1 compound [27,28]. The spectrophotometrically collected data from 1 H-and 13 C-NMR are listed and discussed in the Results and Discussion section.…”

“…According to the in-silico study, the synthesized derivatives except SF0 complied with Lipinski's rule. As a result, these compounds have lower attrition rates during drug development and clinical trials, and thus have a better chance of reaching the market [64,65].…”

“…After 24-hour incubation time at 37 °C, bacterial growth was visually investigated, on the basis of which concentration displayed the imperceptible bacterial proliferation, the above-outlined methodological strategies were repeated using diluted quantities created based on 4, 1, 0.5, or 0.05. Eventually, the first microbiological variable named Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (Measure I) was verified [30]. By mixing 3 mL of MHB with 0.5 mL of 2nd diluted concentrations, the second microbiological variable (Measure II) was examined.…”
