3D Printing merupakan salah satu terobosan bidang manufaktur khususnya teknik additive manufacturing, yang proses menjadikan dalam file digital menjadi suatu objek padat 3 dimensi berdasarkan susunan lapisan (layer) bahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang mesin 3D Printing dengan model siste cartesian dan pengujian sistem menggunakan aplikasi repitier host. Penlitian menggunakan jenis penelitian Design-Based-Research (DBR). Hasil penelitian di jabarkan sebagai berikut; (1) proses perancangan desain mesin 3D printing didapatkan hasil area kerja panjang 30 cm lebar 30 cm dan tinggi 30 cm, sehingga dari rencana area kerja tersebut bisa ditentukan komponen mekanis, komponen rangka utama dan komponen pelengkap lainya. (2) Software repitier host dapat digunakan sebagai simulasi model cartesian. Repitier dapat digunakan cocok digunakan menggunakan bahan dari Polilactid Acid (PLA) dan hasil warna yang lebih sempurna dan beragam. (3) Pada hasil pengujian terdapat stringing pada hasil simulasi produk, hal ini disebabkan karena pengaturan retraksi dan suhu temperatur yang tinggi

e next phase of industrialization in the world is the use of 3D printing technology. Various 3D printing technologies are employed all over the world and for different purposes, from 3D printed houses to 3D printed food nutrients. Printer movement is achieved by carriages moving in a clearly defined X, Y, and Z orientation. e 3D printer has a lower work rate; subsequently, many printouts consume a lot of time due to their complexity. is paper elaborates on the design and development of a faster and fixed build platform 3D printer (Delta 3D printer) using locally available materials and e-waste. e Delta 3D printer movement is faster with a stable bed. Printer movement is achieved using three vertical axes placed 120°apart. Accuracy and speed are achieved with the use of NEMA 17 stepper motors to drive the various carriages on the vertical axes. Design calculations show that the least force delivered by the stepper motor is 1.73 N which exceeds 0.8334 N, the weight of the load to be carried. Furthermore, a stepper motor must turn 80 steps (rotational motion) in order to achieve 1 mm advance (linear motion). is ensures a higher printout resolution. In place of traditional linear rails, locally sourced square pipes were adopted coupled with bearings and a 3D printed carriage support, and a relatively cheaper but stable linear rail was developed. e goal of this research was to develop an alternative easy-to-build Delta 3D printer using locally sourced materials. is goal of this research was achieved, and the developed prototype was test-run under load conditions. It is recommended that salvaged e-waste should be properly managed for easy acquisition.

The research aims to show the ability to convert the Fused Deposition Modeling 3D printer to be compatible with the clay mixture after modifying the structure, setting up Cura software, and changing the print head technology. This solution provides research teams and scientists with opportunities in several ways (manufacture patch antenna substrate, dielectric automobile sensors, and ceramic dielectric aerospace technology). Additive manufacturing allows the production of many intricate shapes with ceramics, which is difficult with a traditional method. This paper used WASP ceramic slurry as raw material for Liquid Deposition Modeling (LDM) of various samples using the Archimedes screw and air pressure dispensing technique (a two-step process). LDM is a low-cost and straightforward technology appropriate for the clay prototype scale. Different clay-built shapes have been produced with water-to-clay ratios ranging from 0.57 to 0.69. The effect of the nozzle size in printing experiment tests is demonstrated. The experiment tested the print head (extruder) mechanism, the properties of the materials suitable for the putty, and how the wet slurry material is extruded from the nozzle. The optimum air pressure and slicing configuration for efficient printing are provided. Samples were stress-tested after they were dried for 24 h at average laboratory temperature and then exposed to 1000$$^\circ $$ ∘ for 1 h.
