O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar e mapear as tecnologias utilizadas por enfermeiros na prestação da assistência a pessoas em cuidados paliativos. Foi desenvolvida uma revisão de literatura do tipo scoping review, orientada pelas recomendações do Joanna Briggs Institute. As buscas foram realizadas entre março e abril de 2023, em cinco bases de dados nacionais e internacionais. Incluíram-se estudos primários, secundários ou documentos oficiais de órgãos de saúde de qualquer país com acesso integral e gratuito e que apresentassem relação com a temática investigada. Excluíram-se teses, dissertações, monografias, estudos de reflexão, publicações em anais e estudos repetidos. A análise dos dados foi realizada de forma descritiva com base na literatura científica. A amostra final constituiu-se de 8 artigos, em sua maioria estudos brasileiros, de natureza qualitativa e com nível de evidência 6. Com relação às tecnologias, prevaleceram as tecnologias leves (87,5%), seguidas das tecnologias duras (75%) e com menor ênfase as tecnologias leve-duras (25%). As tecnologias leves estão imbricadas no cuidado de enfermagem e por isso são mais utilizadas no cuidado paliativo. No entanto, é importante que o enfermeiro conheça e aplique também outros tipos de tecnologias a fim de encontrar a melhor forma de cuidar do paciente em estágio terminal. Recomenda-se o desenvolvimento de pesquisas acerca da adesão dos enfermeiros ao uso das tecnologias na área em questão.
