Fuzzy Modeling on Wheat Productivity Under Different Doses of Sludge and Sewage Effluent

Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of fertilization with composted sewage sludge and irrigation with drinking water (DW) and fertigation with wastewater (WW) in wheat crop using fuzzy rule-based system. The experiment was conducted in the Department of Soil and Environmental Resources, of FCA, UNESP -Botucatu, with factorial 6 × 2, which were applied 6 doses of sewage sludge (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250% of nitrogen recommendation) and two types of effluents (treated water and sewage). In the developing… Show more

“…From the input data, the fuzzy rule-based system (FRBS) will determine the output values of the system by a set of rules based on a method that considers the percentiles of data sets, thus not requiring the knowledge of the experts (Figure 4). This method that relates the percentiles of data sets was adopted and used by Cremasco, Gabriel Filho, and Cataneo (2010), Gabriel Filho, Cremasco, Putti, and Chacur (2011), Gabriel Filho et al (2016), Putti, Kummer, Grassi Filho, Gabriel Filho, and Cremasco (2017b), Viais Neto et al (2019a2019b), andMartínez et al (2020). Table 3 provides the behavior of lettuce for different irrigation depths and water types, and all possibilities are considered.…”

“…However, over the years, the relationship between the cropped area for food production and population growth has been reduced, which makes it necessary to use precise measures for global food service, since estimates indicate that, to provide enough food to meet the world's demand until 2050, food production needs to be increased by around 60% to 110% (RAY et al, 2013).…”

“…Due to the increase in population, land use exploitation was intensified through the intensive soil management practices, the adoption of monoculture in addition to the large use of pesticides to ensure greater production of food (FELEMA, et al, 2013 ). Thus, the use of agrochemicals and new technologies is expanding, which aim to provide better soil management, assuring the quality and productivity of crops combined with the saving of natural resources such as soil and water for irrigation (PUTTI et al, 2014;KLAR, et al, 2015;PUTTI et al, 2017;OLIVEIRA, et al, 2018).…”

“…In agronomy, various applications that make up the different uses of this technique are found, for example, in developing a support system for irrigation and water conservation in agriculture (Giusti & Marsili-Libelli, 2015), in support of the management of orchid species Engenharia Agrícola, Jaboticabal, v.39, n.3, p.305-314, may/jun. 2019 (Putti et al, 2014), in the evaluation of the features of agricultural land (Kurtener & Sukhanov, 2014) and in the evaluation of fertilization with composted sewage sludge and irrigation with drinking water and fertigation with wastewater in wheat crop (Putti et al, 2017).…”
