Patologia De Peixes Da Amazônia Brasileira, Alterações Histológicas Em Brânquias Provocadas Por Ergasilus, Brasergasilus E Acusicola (Crustácea: Cyclopoida: Ergasilidae)

Abstract: ResumoÉ descrita a patologia de Ergasilus, Brasergasilus e Acusicoia (Crustácea: Cyclopoida: Ergasilidae) em peixes amazôni-cos. Esses ergasilídeos provocam hiperplasia e metaplasia epitelial e também fusão e destruição lemelar nos filamentos branquiais dos seus respectivos hospedeiros. O dano causado por Ergasilus varia consideravelmente, dependendo da espécie. Os outros dois gêneros são mais patogênicos ainda.
