Abstract: Desde 2008, o Brasil é o líder mundial em consumo de agrotóxicos. Em contrapartida, do ponto de vista da saúde pública, aumentam as taxas de intoxicação por agrotóxicos que, somente em 2012, superaram as nove mil notificações.
