Investigating Hyperbolic Shear Deformation Theory on vibroacoustic behavior of the infinite Functionally Graded thick plate

Abstract: This paper applies acoustic analysis of Sound Transmission Loss (STL) through infinite Functionally Graded (FG) thick plate employing Hyperbolic Shear Deformation Theory (HSDT). The procedure for applying a FG plate is followed by considering the material properties are changed continually based on power-law distribution of the materials in terms of volume fraction. The main benefit of HSDT can be justified knowing the fact that, it uses parabolic transverse shear strain across thickness direction. Therefore, … Show more

“…Liu and He (2016) deduced an algorithm for calculating the STL of cylindrical sandwich shells lined with poroelastic materials and an air gap using Love’s and Biot’s theory. Next, Talebitooti et al (2016, 2017a, 2017b, 2018a, 2018b, 2019a, 2019b, 2019c, and 2019d) also performed a large amount of research related to the STL of multilayer cylindrical shells and plates with different theories, including the first- and third-order shear deformation theory, nondominated sorting genetic algorithm, two-variable refined plate theory, shear deformation shallow shell theory, and hyperbolic shear deformation theory. And Ghassabi et al (2019a, 2019b) studied sound performance of doubly curved thick structure employing three-dimensional theory.…”

“…However, two variable refined plate theory was investigated to acoustic analyze of a plate in the external flow [48]. Afterwards, the effect of hyperbolic shear deformation theory on the STL of the infinite FG panels was inspected [49]. Talebitooti et al [50] demonstrated the influence of employing HSDT through sound insolation property of the relatively thick and thick laminated composite structures.…”
